Medical Gas Automatic Manifold Systems are designed for automatic switching between two line gas sources. This device is used to supply an uninterrupted flow of medical gas to a medical facility pipeline system. They can be switched automatically without any debugging by the operator, also they can work.
Dual manifold system is the simplest system. Only provide 2 cylinders in service at one time. IT is non-extendable system which suitable for small gas applications such as for maintenance and simple gas delivery system etc.
Single-bank manifold system is designed for a single source of gas supply. Can be used as main delivery system, or as a high-pressure emergency back-up system for liquid vessel or bulk system.
Dual-bank manifold system consists of main gas delivery bank and a reserve of cylinders. When the main cylinder bank is depleted, manually “turn off” the valve on the main bank and open the valve on the reserve bank to reactivate gas flow. The changeover of this system needs to be operated manually.
Semi-automatic manifold system is designed to provide uninterrupted gas supply. It consists of a main bank and a reserve bank of cylinders. When the pressure in the main cylinder bank reduces to the pre-set value, the changeover takes place automatically to provide continuous supply of gas from the reserve bank. Upon changing the cylinders, the regulators on both banks need to be re-adjusted in order for the changeover to occur automatically next time.
Automatic manifold system is designed to provide an uninterrupted gas supply without any manual adjustments. This system automatically changes over when the primary cylinder bank is depleted. Even in case of power failure, the system continues to supply gas without interruption. Complied with NFPA99, HTM02-01, and GB50751-2012.
